In 2025, you helped move an idea into action.
Because of your support, work is now underway in Zambia, where students, educators, and government partners are preparing for the start of a new citywide effort to improve water, sanitation, hygiene, and menstrual health in public schools.
You helped make it possible to break ground in Lusaka.
This moment didn’t happen overnight. It came after months of listening, planning, and collaboration with Zambian leaders, education officials, and communities who are committed to ensuring kids can stay healthy, confident, and engaged at school. Your generosity helped create the space for that work to begin – not as a one-time project, but as a long-term partnership designed to last.
Over the coming years, your support will help bring reliable drinking water, safe handwashing, dignified sanitation, and age-appropriate hygiene and menstrual health education into schools across Zambia’s fastest-growing cities. Just as importantly, it will help strengthen local leadership and systems so this work can continue long after Splash’s role is complete.
As Splash team members recently shared in an interview on ZBTR TV, the goal in Zambia is not to import solutions, but to build alongside what’s already working: partnering with government, educators, and local organizations to reach every student in public schools, city by city.
This approach reflects what you’ve supported all along: solutions that are locally owned, scalable, and built for the long term.
In early 2026, you’ll see this commitment take another visible step forward. A formal launch event in Zambia will mark the beginning of on-the-ground work – celebrating not just construction or infrastructure, but the start of a shared effort to remove barriers that hold kids back from learning.
Your faithful support in 2025 helped sustain proven programs, support student leadership, and position this work to move forward without delay. Now, that momentum is carrying into a new context, where students in Zambia will benefit from the same focus on dignity, health, and opportunity.
Because lasting change doesn’t come from one organization alone.
It comes from people like you investing in systems that work, so every school can be a place where kids thrive.
