Founder Eric Stowe files to incorporate a 501(c)(3) named "A Child's Right" in Tacoma, Washington, after working in international adoption and seeing the effects of dirty water on children's lives.
2007
Work starts in China to provide clean water to orphanages.
Work starts in Nepal, focused on schools.

A Child's Right formally changes name to Splash International.
Splash's Tacoma office moves to Seattle, Washington.

Work starts in Bangladesh.
Work starts in India. Splash opens an office in Kolkata.

Splash reaches every single orphanage in China with safe water!
Splash adds sanitation work to our program.

Project WISE launches in India, aiming to bring our full WASH+MH package to government schools across Kolkata.
Splash Social Enterprises forms as a separate entity within the Splash International family to pursue an exciting social business opportunity. All profits go toward funding Splash's important work in ensuring kids have access to clean water so they can be happy and healthy.
2019
Project WISE launches in Ethiopia, bringing WASH+MH to government schools across Addis Ababa.
Menstrual health becomes its own pillar of our programming, outgrowing its former spot within the hygiene program.
2021
Splash and partners complete preliminary work to bring Project WISE to a second city in Ethiopia, with implementation work beginning by 2023.

Splash Social Enterprises begins third-party sales.
